AURORA BRADDY – 2/3 ELA-S Classroom
Wow! What an amazing and wonderful beginning of the school year we are having here at KCAA!! It is an honor and a privilege to be in this great community for the second year, as the ELA S Teacher in 3rd and 4th grade. I am very fortunate to be able to work with my students and my families from last year. All of our students are so very eager to learn, to be successful, to achieve, and to demonstrate their artistic talents. This is going to be a fantastic school year, filled with new learning, so much knowledge, so much creativity, and great fun. You all are the reason why Kunsmiller Creative Arts Academy is so very amazing.
This is Ms. Murphy’s 16th year of teaching. She has taught from toddler age all the way through middle school in three different states and in both public and private schools. Ms. Murphy was a teacher at KCAA during its first three years and is excited to be returning to teach second grade this year. Ms. Murphy is a CU Boulder graduate and holds her Master’s Degree in Literacy Education. In her free time Ms. Murphy loves to spend time in the mountains hiking, camping, skiing or biking. She also loves long walks with her golden retriever Morrison. When not outside, Ms. Murphy loves to curl up with a good book, write poetry, and listen to good music.

I was born and raised in Denver, CO. I attended the University of Denver and completed two Bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Spanish. I returned to the University of Denver to complete my Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction. I have experience teaching 5th grade in a bilingual school as well as Pre-K and Kindergarten in a Montessori school. This is my first year at KCAA and I LOVE it! Our community has quickly become a second family for me and I love coming to school everyday to see my students, their parents, and my wonderful co-workers!
