- Cori Herbst-Loehr has been a part of the KCAA family since it was just an idea and is proud to be a member of this dynamic community of students and staff. While she wears a few hats here at KCAA, including Student Leadership Teacher Sponsor and CTE Coordinator for KCAA, her primary goal is to support the core mission of risk taking and creative thinking through authentic practice in her Digital Media Arts classroom. Mrs. Loehr graduated from Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design with a BFA in Sculpture and Classical Art and a concurrent BFA in Design in 1995. Mrs. Loehr practiced graphic design professionally for a number of years, eventually managing a print publication and marketing firm. Never feeling entirely fulfilled in the corporate world, she turned her sites toward teaching and received her educational degree from Metro. Mrs. Loehr is currently working toward her Master’s degree in Educational Leadership, and having been in the classroom for 10 years now, she has never once regretted her decision to embrace teaching, counting herself among a special few who LOVE what they do! In her free time, Mrs. Loehr enjoys cooking, camping, traveling, going to the movies, spending time with friends and most of all lazy days hanging out with her son and husband.
