Upcoming Meeting for Middle School and High School
Thursday, August 30th at 4pm in the High School Commons Area (4th Floor, near the Library)
2012-2013 will begin the second year of Student Leadership Council at KCAA.
The Student Leadership Council is comprised of 14 voting student officers and representatives at the Middle School and High School Level. However, Student Leadership Council welcomes and invites all interested students to participate in student led activities at KCAA and public meetings.
High School Student Leadership also serves as KCAA’s CTSO (Career and Technical School Organization).
INTERESTED IN HOLDING AN OFFICIAL POSITION?
Last year KCAA Middle and High School voted for their student officers. These officers (except for Secretary and Treasurer) will continue to serve through the 2012/13 year as we work towards creating stability and structure in our Leadership Council. In April of 2013 officer elections will be held to determine who will serve for the 2013/14 school year.
On September 7th, 2012 voting will be held for class representatives (2 reps at each grade in MS & HS) and the offices of Secretary and Treasurer. If you believe you can contribute amazing ideas, and help shape the future of our school and this organization, please consider running for a representative position. Campaigning requirements and position details will be announced during our schoolwide assemblies during week one.
Campaigns will run from 9/4-9/7 with voting to occur on 9/7/12.
